Jim Healey had a fun interview with members of the Art Works artists cooperative gallery in the studio this morning to let the community know about the holiday cheer happening at the gallery this month.

Glenda Kochen, glass artist, Foster Cline, photographer, and Sally Dennison, watercolor and acrylic painter, were in the KRFY studios to talk about their artwork and mentioned Art Works open house and annual reception celebrating the holidays on Saturday, December 7, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the gallery, 214 First Avenue North..

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
