KRFY 88.5 FM On-Line Auction Starts Today! Tune In For a Good Cause.

KRFY will be hosting an on-line auction opening October 21, 2013.

At this time the station is looking for items to fill the auction site. KRFY members, listeners, volunteers and supporters can participate now by donating items for the auction. Here are a few examples of what can be donated for the auction but the possibilities are endless.

Gift certificates for: dinners, lodging, athletic training sessions, home and garden services.

Tickets: to sports and music events locally and around the country.

Plus: fabulous and special wines; artwork; music.

Put on your thinking caps for unique and interesting items for KRFY Panhandle Community Radio’s fall on-line auction. We have until October 11th to get those auction items into the Bidding for Goods on-line auction site.

Please call 265-2992 to donate or for more information.  You can also email the station at: www.krfy.org.

Thank you for your support..

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
