Begin 2015’s Morning Shows with a Look Back

KRFYmoringShowArt-250px
KRFY Morning Show hosts, Jim, Jack, Chris and Suzy invite you to tune in each Tuesday and Thursday morning at 8:00. Enjoy interviews, news and views that will inform and inspire you.

Tune in Tuesday, January 6, 2015 as the KRFY Morning Show celebrates its first anniversary. Morning Show hosts Jim, Jack, Chris and Suzy will take a look back over the first year of our twice-weekly current affairs program, plus take a look ahead to 2015.

And on that point, we invite all our listeners to submit their ideas for the show hosts to discuss on the air next Tuesday. What would YOU like to hear on the Morning Show? How can we improve the show’s format and content  to make it compelling, must-hear radio for YOU? We want your ideas so we can make the Morning Show even better! Call 208-265-2992 or email us at: [email protected].

Thursday, January 8, join KRFY Morning Show hosts Jack Peterson and Jim Healey. Their guests will be Brenda Hammond and Sharon MacCahon from the Bonner County Human Rights Task Force. That’s at 8:00 a.m. on 88.5 KRFY Community Radio.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU – KRFY LISTENERS. If you have a question for any of our morning interview guests, drop us an email at [email protected]  or call and leave a phone message at 208 265-2992. We will ask your question ON AIR during the interview..

A note on KRFY funding

How has defunding and closure of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting affected KRFY? Our station is funded solely by listeners, supporters and underwriters and has never received funding from the CPB. But some syndicated shows KRFY airs will be affected. The National Federation of Community Broadcasters has prepared a statement on impacts of the CPB closure. Click to read it.
