Thursday morning, the first day of our Annual Radio Pledge Drive here at KRYF, the volunteers were at phone center early and were taking calls from listeners pledging their financial support for quality, non-commercial, radio programming here in the Panhandle of Idaho. Today’s listening audience heard the following, live on air:
At 9:00 AM, Sarabeth was in the studio, interviewed by Jim Healey, to launch the start of the 3-day pledge drive. With an in-studio performance by this 3-sisters act, accompanied by additional family members, a fun time was had by all.
At 10:00 AM, Nancy Dooley was interviewed in the studio by Jim Healey for an update of the Idaho Conservation League activities and upcoming events.
At 10:30 AM, Charlie Packard appeared in the studio with Jeff Poole for a mid-morning treat to our listening audience.
At 12:00 PM, Jim Healey interviewed Wild Honey, in the studio between live performances by this harmonious trio.
From late morning until late afternoon, in-studio interviewees included: Kelly McTavish, Mac Hollan for the Point to Bay Fund Raiser for the School Backpack Food Program, Sandy Compton with the Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness group, Kim Queen from Pend Oreille Arts Council, Cedar & Boyer with Holly McGarry playing music live in the studio, and a poetry and composition reading by Krysta Bells Muse..
